Underground Home – Switzerland

This underground home was designed by Netherlands architects from SeARCH and Christian Muller Architects. It is located in the Swiss village of Vals.

Home built in a Cave – Missouri

This ingenious home can be found in Festus, Missouri and was constructed inside a 15,000 square foot sandstone cave. Built by Curt and Deborah Sleeper, this has become their cozy home featuring a very modern interior with unique textures such as the unfinished sandstone walls.

While not entirely a treehouse, this vintage Boeing 727 was originally bought by Joanne Ussary for $2,000. It cost her $4,000 to move the plane and $24,000 to renovate an turn it into this Executive Suite 727 tree house.
